To the Old Broadway Synagogue community and beyond:

We are approaching the tenth yahrzeit (10 Adar,  February 25, 2018) of our friend and member of the Old Broadway Synagogue, Isaac Meyers. Isaac was a doctoral student in Classics at Harvard. He was a kind, gentle young man who was beloved by everyone, especially children. He is sorely missed. There is a Facebook page in his memory which can be reached here. In addition, at the initiative of some of Isaac's friends, we are establishing the Isaac J. Meyers Memorial Fund for the benefit of the Old Broadway Synagogue. If you would like to make a donation, please see the letter below. Also, please include a note along with your donation that it is for the Isaac J. Meyers Memorial Fund. May Isaac's memory be a blessing for us.
Sincerely,

Paul Radensky
President
Old Broadway Synagogue

*********************************************
Dear friends,
As Isaac’s 10th yahrzeit (the anniversary of his passing) approaches, some of his friends wanted to honor his memory through a collective donation to a cause close to his heart. Isaac’s family suggested that we contribute to The Old Broadway Synagogue in New York City-- Isaac’s “home” shul (synagogue) when he visited New York. We are excited to announce that Old Broadway will now be establishing a fund in Isaac’s memory.
You can make a donation to the Old Broadway Synagogue’s new Isaac J. Meyers Memorial Fund via PayPal through this link:
https://oldbroadwaysynagogue.blogspot.com/p/donate.html

Or you can send a check made out to "Old Broadway Synagogue" to:

Old Broadway Synagogue
15 Old Broadway
New York, NY 10027

Whether you donate via PayPal or check, please note that your donation is in memory of Isaac Meyers. Your money will go into the new fund for general synagogue use, and Old Broadway will inform Isaac’s family of your donation.
Please contact Jill Smith at jmsmith@brandeis.edu if you have any questions. Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Ahron Herring
