I neglected to discuss the spicing for the cholent. I put three teaspoons of salt, a teaspoon of pepper and about three tablespoons of olive in the cholent and the other ingredients have been added. I am thinking of adding the salt in the end to see if it can be made with less sodium.
In the future, I hope to create a video showing how to make a version of a Moroccan Sephardic cholent called Dafina. Have no fear - I won't do it in Ladino!
